The exhibition will be held from Wednesday (September 4) to Sunday (September 8),
Addressing a press conference to announce the line up events to be organised to mark the occasion, Hospital founders Dr Kamaraj and Dr Jeyarani Kamaraj, who were offering quality treatment to infertility couples to enable them to become proud parents, said the hospital has been regularly conducting sexual awareness fairs and international seminars.
“Our aim is to bring medical science, modern treatment methods, discoveries and correct lifestyle to people from all walks of life”, Dr.Kamaraj said.
Pointing out that food, clothing and shelter are the three basic human necessities for a sustained living, he said
fourthly, complete health including sexual health too a basic human need.
Stating that September 4 will be celebrated as World Sexual Health Day, Dr Kamaraj said to mark the occasion, a sexual health and stem cell awareness exhibition will be held to create awareness among the public on various treatment precedures available for sexual disorders and to lead a happy life, including IVF procedures for infertility couples.
The exhibition, to be held from at Dr. Kamaraj Hospital campus in Vadapalani in the city, will be inaugurated on 4th September 2024 by South Chennai Lok Sabha MP Ms. Tamilachi Thangapandian.
Along with awareness exhibition related to sexual health, infertility problems, impotency, an expo on stem cell therapy awareness will also be held.
Dr Kamaraj said India has become the diabetes capital of the world as 50% of diabetic patients were not keeping their sugar level under control and 60% of diabetics faced problems of impotency.
The advent of technology also contributed to this as Sperm production among men is also affected due to excessive use of cell phone, laptop etc.
Although modern medicine has introduced new drugs and treatment methods to a large extent, there is a compulsion
to follow them. Stem cell therapy is a good option for people who have longed for an alternative way to get rid of it.
This stem cell treatment offers major solution and saves people from incurable diseases. It is celebrated worldwide as a miraculous invention that provides complete health as necessary changes could be made in our genes to
increase the human life span.

Admission to the exhibition is free. It will be held from 8 am to 7 pm. On the days of the exhibition, free consultation is also arranged and offer counselling to the needy patients.
