We have inaugurated the Anti Human Trafficking Club in Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth College For Women (CTTE COLLEGE). A Pilot Project of lCWO / HSF INDIA at Sembium, Perambur on 1st September 2022 at Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth College for Women (CTTE COLLEGE).
Anti Human Trafficking Club – AHT Club will address the modern day slavery and stop forced labour, illegal organ transplant and sexual exploitation of human in specific focus with women and children. ICWO will provide technical guidance to AHTC for effective functioning with the support by Dr.P.M.Nair, IPS (Retd), International Expert in the field of Human Trafficking in India. The AHTC will work within and outside the campus in creating awareness, rescue and reintegration of trafficking survivor in partnership with District NGOs.
In the presence of A.J.Hariharan, Founder Secretary of ICWO, Dr.S.Sridevi, Principal, CTTE College, Dr.R.Meenakshi, Vice Principal, CTTE College, Ms.Yogitha, Professor, CTTE College, Ms.Sherley, Professor, CTTE College followed by Street Theatre about Human Trafficking played by CTTE College Students and Ms.Jaya, Senior Social Worker pinning the Street Theatre badge to the CTTE Students around 500 students participated.
