Chief Engineer General of the Government of Tamil Nadu and ICC Tamil Nadu Emphasize Industry Collaboration at RATA Event

Chennai, December– Mr. Sathyamurthy, Engineer-in-Chief and Chief Engineer General of the Government of Tamil Nadu, and Mr. Sivakumar Eswaran, Chairman of ICC Tamil Nadu, addressed the gathering at the recent RATA (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers’ Association) event held at Chennai.
Mr. Sathyamurthy acknowledged the valuable services rendered by Mr. Sayani Haribabu and his company, during the COVID-19 pandemic further he highlighted their significant contributions.
Mr. Sathyamurthy further emphasized the government’s focus on energy efficiency in all new construction projects. He highlighted the successful implementation of energy-saving measures, citing the Kalaingar Library in Madurai as an example. The library, constructed in record time, utilizes a VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) system, resulting in significant energy cost savings for the government.
Mr. Sathyamurthy further acknowledged the widespread adoption of VRF systems across government buildings, including the Secretariat, as a testament to their energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness. He expressed his admiration for the advancements in HVAC&R technology and commended RATA for its crucial role in supporting the growth and development of the industry.

Mr. Sivakumar Eswaran, Chairman of ICC Tamil Nadu, congratulated Mr. Sayani Haribabu on his appointment as President of RATA. He emphasized the importance of strong collaboration between ICC and RATA to foster industry growth and development. Mr. Eswaran also lauded RATA for its significant contributions to the growth of MSMEs in the HVAC&R sector.

Both Mr. Sathyamurthy and Mr. Eswaran extended their gratitude to RATA officials Mr. Urvish Shah, Vice President, Mr. Paras, Past National President, and Mr. Parush, Membership Secretary, for their dedication and valuable contributions to the association.
