Chinmaya Mission and Sanatana Seva Sangham Release “Upanishad Ganga” in Multiple Languages

Chinmaya Mission and Sanatana Seva Sangham have jointly translated and released the acclaimed series Upanishad Ganga in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and English.

The grand release event took place at the Chinmaya Heritage Centre in Chetpet, Chennai, with the esteemed presence of Swami Swaroopananda, the Global Head of Chinmaya Mission. Originally aired on Doordarshan in 2012, Upanishad Ganga received immense appreciation from audiences. Even after 13 years, the series continues to retain its spiritual and philosophical essence, inspiring seekers with its profound insights. Recognizing its timeless significance, Chinmaya Mission and Sanatana Seva Sangham undertook the initiative to translate and present it in multiple languages, a project that took two years of dedicated effort.

The special launch event was graced by distinguished guests, including former Chief Election Commissioner of India, Shri N. Gopalaswami, and the Editor of Thuglak magazine, Shri S. Gurumurthy, BJP Tamilnadu President Mr.Annamalai who officially released the translated versions of the series.

Additionally, several notable personalities attended the event as special guests, including Upanishad Ganga’s director, Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, along with his wife, Mrs. Mandira Kashyap Dwivedi; Dr. Manisha Kamlani, CEO of Central Chinmaya Mission Trust; and Shri Gopal Srinivasan, Founder of Sanatana Seva Sangham.

This landmark translation effort aims to bring the spiritual wisdom of Upanishad Ganga to a wider audience, fostering deeper philosophical contemplation and spiritual growth across diverse linguistic communities.
