Chennai, April 2025: DreamZone School of Creative Studies successfully hosted Innov8 Spaces 2025, a one-of-a-kind event celebrating architectural brilliance, creativity, and innovation in interior and spatial design. This unique platform brought together industry leaders, expert jurors, and aspiring designers, fostering an environment where ideas flourished, visions took shape, and inspiration thrived. DreamZone is the creative design training arm of CADD Centre.
Innov8 Spaces 2025 featured three key segments. The Pavilion Design Competition provided a platform for DreamZone students to showcase their visionary concepts, while the Café Design Bootcamp offered an immersive challenge for aspiring designers to test and refine their skills. Café Design Masterclass, led by Michelle Jerome, Design Head at Build HQ, provided professionals with hands-on insights into café aesthetics, functionality, and evolving hospitality trends. More than just a talent showcase, Innov8 Spaces served as a collaborative hub where industry experts, mentors, and design enthusiasts exchanged ideas, redefined spaces, and pushed creative boundaries. DreamZone students created life-sized interactive installations, demonstrating exceptional skill and innovation, which were evaluated by an esteemed panel of jurors.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Ms. PraneethaVarma, Vice Chairperson, IIID Chennai Regional Chapter, who commended DreamZone for providing a transformative platform for emerging designers. A thought-provoking panel discussion titled “The Authenticity Crisis in Interior Design: Innovation or Imitation?” was led by Mr. Sidharth Ninan, Co-founder of BuildHQ and Principal Architect at Sidharth Ninan Architecture; Mr. Harish R, Principal Architect at Studio39 and Associate Professor at BMS School of Architecture; and Ar. Reeveezee M Antony, Academic Innovator at RVS College and Founder of Updesign Studio.
The much-awaited Pavilion Design Competition winners were also announced. Team Quintet from DreamZone, Malleswaram – Bangalore won first place, receiving Rs.25,000, followed by Team Neidhal from DreamZone, Mylapore – Chennai as the 1st Runner-Up, winning Rs.15,000. The 2nd Runner-Up position was secured by Team The Creative Clique from DreamZone, Palarivattam– Kochi, who received Rs.5,000.
Innov8 Spaces 2025 highlighted the incredible potential of emerging designers and reaffirmed DreamZone’s commitment to nurturing talent and driving innovation in the ever-evolving world of interior and spatial design.
