FREE ARTIFICIAL LIMBS & CALIPER DISTRIBUTION: EMPOWERING LIVES AND ENABLING HUMANITY

Chennai: In a heart-warming initiative, the SRI KANYAKA PARAMESWARI ARTS & SCIENCE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN( SKPC) under the Management of SKPD & Charities has taken the noble responsibility of conducting a camp for the free distribution of artificial limbs and assistive devices. This compassionate endeavour seeks to extend a helping hand to those who have faced the challenges of Physical disabilities, with the belief that service to mankind is, indeed, service to humanity. We would also like to inform that similar camp was held in 2016 for three days from 09.09.2016 to 11.09.2016.

The camp for free distribution of artificial limbs and assistive devices is a shining example of the profound impact of kindness on humanity. The thought behind organizing this camp is :

Restoring mobility and independence

Enhancing self esteem and confidence

Facilitating and social inclusion

Encouraging empathy and compassion

Creating a ripple effort of the generosity

With this note we propose to conduct a programme for distribution of artificial limbs and assistive devices on 05.09.2023 at 4.00 p.m.
