Chennai, October 7th, 2024: In Observance of World Sight Day on 10th October 2024, Gleneagles Hospital Chennai is organizing a Three-day Free Eye health screening camp called “I SCREEN “at the hospital premises at Perumbakkam, Chennai. The camp will commence on 8th October, Tuesday at 9 AM and function till 4 PM every day till 10th October2024. Dr E. Ravindra Mohan, Director, Gleneagles Eye Centre, Gleneagles Hospital Chennai will spearhead the camp. For registration, please contact (044) 4477 7000.
The camp will be held on a specially designed I- SCREEN format which involves a quick vision check and a measurement of eye pressure using a non- contact tonometer. This fast and effective screening protocol of the eyes will be performed by an experienced Optometrist and is expected to last about 2 minutes or so. An I- SCREEN report will also be handed to each person screened. This will be followed by specific eye care awareness advice and guidance as also referral of patients needed a comprehensive eye consultation. A specially designed kiosk in the outpatient area with eye care related advice in the form of standees, posters, and displays will also be a highlight of the camp.
Dr. E.
