JCI Chennai Harmony Marks a New Beginning with Installation Ceremony

Junior Chamber International (JCI), one of the largest Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) globally, with a presence in over 120 countries, celebrated the installation ceremony of JCI Chennai Harmony. This milestone event marked the beginning of a new chapter for the organization in Chennai.

The ceremony, held at the Andhra Chamber of Commerce, was presided over by JFM N Vignesh, Zone President, as the Chief Guest. JFM S Venkata Krishnan, ZVP, was the felicitator. The event was also graced by esteemed guests, including Dr. P Meganathan, Founder MD of Tapams Group; Dr. Rajaram Venkatraman, Convener of FICCI Tamilnadu Technology Panel and President, SPIN Chennai; and R Balan, Founder of NCV.

Dr. P Meganathan , Founder , MD of Tapams shared insights into JCI’s rich history, dating back to 1915, and its evolution from a dance club to a global organization. Dr. Rajaram Venkatraman expressed his admiration for JCI’s mission and pledged his support. He emphasized the significance of empowerment, leadership, and service.

Charter President’s Vision

JC Kanchana Vivek, the newly installed Charter President of JCI Chennai Harmony, & Founder of Sparkle PR outlined her vision for the JCI organization.
She vowed to increase awareness about JCI across India, leveraging her media expertise, and empowering youth through various college programs. She also announced the launch of the LO Bulletin, “Vallamai Tharayo”, a platform to share inspiring stories, achievements, and experiences of JCI Chennai Harmony members & about the JCI Organization.

“We are committed to creating a positive impact in our community, and I am excited to lead this journey with my team. The launch of ‘Vallamai Tharayo’ is a significant step towards sharing our stories and inspiring others to join us in our mission,” Jc Kanchana added. She expressed her gratitude to JC R.Vivek Raja, Charter President of JCI CSK, was instrumental in organizing the event, Media friends, and the JCI community for their unwavering support.

Dr. Rajaram Venkatraman, Convener of FICCI Tamilnadu Technology Panel and President, SPIN Chennai, expressed his admiration for JCI’s mission and pledged his support. He emphasized the significance of empowerment, leadership, and service, stating:

“JCI is a beacon of empowerment, leadership, and service. It’s an organization that has the potential to bring about positive change in society. I am impressed by the enthusiasm and commitment of the members, and I am confident that JCI Chennai Harmony will make a significant impact in the community.”

He also mentioned that he was disappointed that he was not aware of such an organization during his younger days, highlighting the need for greater awareness about JCI’s mission and activities.

R Balan, Founder of NCV, delivered a motivational speech, citing Sir Edmund Hillary’s inspiring quote. He emphasized the importance of perseverance and self-improvement.

The ceremony concluded with a felicitation ceremony and a dinner, leaving a lasting impression on the attendees. JC R.Vivek Raja, Charter President of JCI CSK, was instrumental in organizing the event, ensuring its success and impact.
