Chennai, May 2024:– Kauvery Hospital Alwarpet, a leading multi-specialty healthcare provider, launched the summer internship program for psychology students and aspiring psychologists. The program, titled “Praxis – Putting Theory into Practice,” is designed to offer a unique 14-day workshop that combines hands-on experience with theoretical knowledge.
The Praxis internship program aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application, providing participants with the opportunity to gain real-world experience in a clinical setting. Over the course of two weeks, interns will work closely with experienced psychologists and healthcare professionals, participating in various activities that enhance their understanding and skills in the field of psychology.
The program covers a wide range of topics including psychological assessments, therapeutic techniques, patient interaction, and mental health awareness. Interns will have the opportunity to engage in practical sessions, observe clinical practices, and participate in case discussions. Upon successful completion of the program, interns will receive a certificate recognizing their participation and achievements.
