LS MP Tamizhachi Thangapandian inaugurates 5-day stem cell awareness expo

A five-day Stemcell awareness day expo, showcasing the vast benefits by this therapy, began in a city hospital on Wednesday to mark the World Sexual Health day.

Organised by Dr Kamaraj Hospital for Men’s Health and Aakash Fertility Centre and Hospital at Vadapalani in the city, the sexual health and stem cell awareness expo was inaugurated by DMK Lok Sabha MP Ms Tamizhachi Thangapandian in the presence of hospital Founder Dr T.Kamaraj and Dr K.S.Jayarani Kamaraj.

The public health exhibition will be held till Sunday (September 8) and the entry was free for the public.

Dr. Kamaraj written a book about Stemcell. This book was released by MP Ms.Tamizhachi Thangapandian.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms Tamizhachi Thangapandian, who was elected from South Chennai constituency, said Tamil Nadu is a pioneer state in India in terms of medical services for the people.

The medical work of Dr.Kamaraj and Dr. Jayarani Kamaraj was commendable and they are renowned for treating infertility and sexual problems.

She said the doctor-couple have been introducing new medical discoveries in the world and providing high quality treatment to the people in this hospital.

Pointing out that the Stem cell therapy has been introduced in this hospital, she said it is a remedy for infertility, impotence, diabetes, heart disease, joint replacement surgery and hair loss among others.

Annually, such awareness exhibition programs are conducted to make medical science easily understandable to the common people in simple Tamil.

“Until now I thought that stem cells were taken from the umbilical cord. On the contrary, I have come here to know that it can be taken from the fat in each person’s abdomen and treated by them”, she said, and appealed to the public to visit this exhibition and get to know about the various treatment facilities and the benefits the stem cell therapy offers.

Dr Kamaraj and Dr Jeyarani Kamaraj, who were offering quality treatment to infertility
couples to enable them to become proud parents, said “Our aim is to bring medical
science, modern treatment methods, discoveries and correct lifestyle to people from
all walks of life”.

Stating that September 4 (today) is celebrated as World Sexual Health Day, Dr Kamaraj
said the sexual health and stem cell awareness exhibition was to create awareness among the public on various treatment procedures available for sexual disorders and to lead a happy life, including IVF procedures for infertility couples.

The expo highlights various benefits offered by stem cell therapy that included
Azoospermia, erectile dysfunction, female infertility, ovarian rejuvenation, urinary infection, uterine, heart problems, sports injury, autism, cancer, bone fracture, non union hip, knee/ankle arthritis, hairfall, besides various therapy for sexual disorders.

பொது மக்கள் கண்டு பலன் அடைவேண்டும்
