Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, recognized among India’s top institutes, proudly commemorated Excellence Day 2024 on April 27, 2024, at the Sathyabama Campus. The ceremonial function was presided by Dr. Mariazeena Johnson- Chancellor and Dr. Marie Johnson- President, Vice Presidents Mr. J Arul Selvan & Ms. Maria Bernadette Tamilarasi, Ms. Maria Catherine Jayapriya, honoring and appreciating the achievers with accolades.
The Campus Recruitment Season for the final-year batch witnessed an impressive turnout of over 300 recruiters, including 72 new companies, showcasing Sathyabama’sgrowing prominence in the industry. This season marked a historic milestone for Sathyabama, with the highest-ever CTC of 45.59 which is the highest CTC offered so far for the Engineering students, signifying a monumental achievement for our institution. The increased engagement of Dream, Super Dream, and Elite companies in recruiting our students underscores the robust foundation provided to the students’ future endeavors.
Furthermore, the institute experienced a substantial year-on-year increase in the average CTC, reaching 5.40 LPA, reflecting the calibre of talent nurtured within the campus. The influx of Dream, Super Dream, and Elite companies further solidified Sathyabama’s position as a preferred destination for top-tier talent acquisition, paving the way for future batches to excel. This season, 2454 offers made through the Campus Recruitment with an impressive 93.09% of registered students have already secured placements. This includes students from 32 states across the Country and international students from 15+ countries. 115 students who joined through the full scholarship scheme also have secured their jobs through theCampus Recruitment Program.
The collaborative efforts between Sathyabama and industry partners, including Servicenow and PwC, resulted good number of job offers through the Center of Excellences, highlighting the institution’s proactive approach towards bridging the gap between academia and industry requirements, aiding students in enhancing their employability skills and preparing them for the challenges of the modern workplace.
The participation of renowned recruiters such as Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte, Hitachi, HCL, TCS, Natwest, DevRev, Tredence Analytics, Virtusa , Tejas Network, Athena Health, JSW Steels, Sona Comstar, UnoMinda, Genpact, BNY Mellon, Godrej, Zoho and many others showcased the vast array of opportunities available to Sathyabama students, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to holistic development and global competitiveness.
With over 2400+ offers extended and a new cohort of talented individuals poised to make a significant impact in the industry, Sathyabama celebrates yet another milestone in its journey towards excellence. This batch of students has achieved remarkable milestones, including surpassing the historic mark of 2000+ offers for the 3rd consecutive time and marching towards the 2nd consecutive 3000+ offers.

This batch of students has achieved remarkable milestones, including surpassing the historic mark of 2000+ offers for the 3rd consecutive time and marching towards the 2nd consecutive 3000+ offers. It is notable to mention that 15 of the final year students have qualified through GATE Exam for higher studies with a very good score. Also, more than 300 students proceeding for Higher Studies across the globe in prestigious Universities through the Advisory Bureau for Higher Studies. It is remarkable to note that 5 of the visually challenged students got admitted in to the Prestigious IIMs.
