Chennai, December 9, 2024 – The Good Deeds Club, an all-women’s philanthropic organization founded by renowned social activist and politician Apsara Reddy, continues its mission of spreading joy and hope through acts of kindness. This December, in collaboration with Dr. Mohan Kameshwaran of the Madras ENT Research Foundation, the club has donated 30 high-quality hearing aids to children with hearing impairments.
The hearing aids, which are a lifeline for children who have never experienced the sound of their mother’s voice or the simple joys of everyday noise, are a transformative gift. These state-of-the-art devices promise to open new doors to communication and learning for the young recipients, profoundly improving their quality of life.
Speaking on the occasion, Apsara Reddy said:
“The ability to hear is something many of us take for granted, but for these children, it is a doorway to a world they’ve never known. Today, as we give these hearing aids, we are not just gifting sound—we are giving them a chance to connect, to learn, and to dream without limitations. This is the heart of the Good Deeds Club: to ensure every child feels seen, heard, and cherished.”
The heartwarming event held at the Park Hyatt Hotel, Guindy, and witnessed the transformative power of giving.
