Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetathipathi Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal visited Ziva Active Retirement Community at Mahabalipuram

Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetathipathi was offered traditional Poorna Kumbam welcome along with Veda Gosham by the Vidyarthees of Athur Veda Patasahala. Mr. P. suresh, MD Arun Excello & Mr. Arun Suresh participated in this Auspicious occasion.

Ziva Active Retirement community is located on a 20 acres campus and has been functioning since 2020. Currently there are about 400 senior citizens living in this community.

The residents need for food, health, safety and facility management are fully managed and taken care off by the company.

The community has Club House which houses all the amenities like state of the art kitchen, air conditioned dining hall, swimming pool, physio theraphy room, Dr consultation room with day care centre, mini super market for day to day essentials, pharmacy, library, indoor and outdoor gym, billiards, carom and other indoor games, lush green space with reading pod,

The club house also houses an acoustically treated AC multi purpose hall with a capacity of 500 pax.

The community also has a Siva Vishnu Temple and a Gau Shala with 150 native breed cows are given shelter and taken care.

Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetathipathi, Sri Sankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Swamigal visited ZIVA to the delight and spiritual joy of the residents and staff. He was led in a vibrant procession with chants of “Hara Hara Shankara, Jaya Jaya Shankara” to the Sri Siva Vishnu Temple, followed by a visit to the Gau Shala, where he lovingly fed native breed cows and calves.

Impressed by ZIVA’s green, pollution-free environment, His Holiness appreciated the initiative in creating such a holistic space for senior living. He inaugurated the Maitri Hall, a new cultural center accommodating 500 residents, and in his Anugraha Bhashan, emphasized the importance of preserving Bharatiya traditions, studying and working in India, and protecting ancient temples. He encouraged reading sacred texts like the Bhagavatam, Ramayana, Bhagavad Gita, Devaram, and Prabandham to cultivate Bhakti and national responsibility.

His blessings touched every heart, he interacted warmly with residents, enquired about their native places, and gave Prasadam to all. He deeply appreciated the 200 support staff from nearby villages, recognizing their traditional attire and cultural values. He acknowledged the dharmic service of caring for elders, lauding the efforts of Arun Excello management in creating such a nurturing ecosystem.

The visit was a moment of immense joy for all at ZIVA, a rare and blessed opportunity to receive the divine presence and grace of the Guru in their own home.
