Sri Kanyaka Parameswari Arts and Science College for Women celebrated UGADI festival on 21-03-2023 at 11: 00 am in our college premises. As part of celebration to enrich the Hindu Culture and Tradition, students put Rangoli and did a flowers decoration called Bathukamma. Honorable Correspondent Sri Vootukuru Sarathkumar, Principal Dr. T. Mohanashree, Vice Principal Dr. P. B. Vaneetha and Academic Vice Principal Dr. M. V. Nappinnai were present on the occasion. Staffs and students consumed Ugadi Pachadi (a mixture of six tastes) as an important part of the celebration. The six items of Ugadi Pachadi are said to signify sadness, happiness, anger, fear, disgust and surprise. Thus this ancient festival of UGADI considered as an auspicious one was celebrated with much joy and happiness in the college campus.
