Sri Venugopal Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School celebrated 44th Annual Sports Meet

Chennai:Sri Venugopal Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, the academic centre of Telugu Mahajana Samajam, celebrated its 44th Annual Sports Meet with great fervour at Rajarathinam Stadium, Egmore.The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and parents, making it a grand success.

The prestigious event was graced by Sri J. Meghanatha Reddy, IAS, Member Secretary, Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu, as the Chief Guest. He inaugurated the meet and emphasized the significance of sports in instilling discipline, teamwork, and perseverance among students.He also elaborated on the state GOVERNMENT schemes for students who excel in sports.The occasion was further honoured by the presence of esteemed dignitaries from the Committee of Telugu Mahajana Samajam, including:

The event commenced with a grand march past, where students from various houses showcased their discipline and coordination. The younger students engaged in fun filled activities while senior students demonstrated their endurance and sportsmanship.
Victorious participants were honoured with trophies and medals during the prize distribution ceremony. The overall championship trophy was awarded to the best-performing house, celebrating their outstanding achievements.
In his address, Sri K. Anil kumar Reddy, President, congratulated all participants and emphasized the importance of physical fitness in a student’s holistic development. The event concluded with the national anthem.
