SRM VALLIAMMAI ENGINEERING COLLEGE (A Member of SRM Group of Institutions) 18th Graduation Day

The grand celebration of the 18^th Graduation day of SRMValliammai Engineering College was held on 30th April, 2023 at Dr. T. P. Ganesan Auditorium. It marked the culmination of a four – year teaching and learning process at the college. It was indeed a red letter day for the graduands who had gathered for the most memorable event of their life.

The programme began with the customary invocation and the welcome address was given by Dr B. Chidambararajan, Director – SRMVEC. He welcomed the graduands cordially and shared his views on the duties of being a responsible engineer in making theirstand in today’s economical market a prominent one. Dr. M.Murugan, Principal SRM VEC, in his Graduation Day Report placed on record highlighted the achievements and landmarks of the college.

Dr. Ravi Pachamoothoo, Chairman – SRM Group and Ms. R. Harini, Correspondent, SRM VEC sent their wishes to the graduands as this day marks the beginning of their successful career. Dr. Ramachandran, Director – Academics, SRM Group, declared open the Graduation Ceremony and wished the graduands and encouraged them in all their future endeavours.

Mr. Rajendran Dandapani, Director of Technology, Zoho Corporation, President Zoho Schools of learning, was the Chief Guest for the day who conferred the degrees on the graduands. The ceremony witnessed the conferring of degrees on 947 graduands. The 53 rank holders were honoured with medals and certificates. The chief guest in his address, spoke about the significance of the engineering field and the role of engineers in today’s technical scenario. He emphasised on the need for practical knowledge and applying the same in their work places.
