Jawaharlal Nehru, on August 14, 1947, marking the consequential transfer of power from the British Government to India. Considered a powerful representation of justice and governance, the Sengol has become an emblematic treasure for the nation.

Mr. Vummidi Anil Kumar expresses his wholehearted thankfulness to the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi for bestowing this exceptional honor upon him and the Vummidi Bangaru Chetty family.
