79th Independence Day Celebrates Sri Kanyaka Parameswari Arts & Science College for Women

Sri Kanyaka Parameswari Arts & Science College for Women, in collaboration with Sri Kanyaka Parameswari Devasthanam & Charities, celebrated the 79th Independence Day on 15.08.2025 (Friday) at 9:30 a.m. with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor.

The event was graced by the presence of esteemed Management Members:

Sri Vootukuru Sarath Kumar, Hony. Correspondent of SKPC , Sri Soleti Lokaian Sudarasanam, Member-in-Charge of Office Administration & Works, Hony. Correspondent to Aided Schools, Sri T. S. Badrinath, Member-in-Charge of Hostels, Chairman of SKPD NTTF, Sri C.R. Kishore Babu, Member-in-Charge of Finance Dr. J. V. Rao, Advisor, SKPD Educational Institutions Dr. P.B. Vaneetha, Principal In-Charge,Dr. M. V. Nappinai, Vice Principal , Dr.P.B.Baranikumari IQAC Coordinator.

Faculty members and students from KTCT Girls’ Aided Primary & Higher Secondary School, SKPD Boys’ Aided Primary & Secondary School and the SKPD-NTTF Training Centre also participated in the celebration.

The National Flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest, Mr. K. S. Ramachandran, Managing Director of Balaji Securities, Salem. The National Anthem was then sung by students and faculty members with immense pride and patriotism.

In his address, the Chief Guest, Mr. K. S. Ramachandran, delivered an inspiring patriotic speech. He paid homage to the freedom fighters who laid down their lives for the nation and encouraged students to empower themselves and aspire to become future entrepreneurs.

During the event:

·         Meritorious scholarships were awarded to deserving students

·         105 free spectacles were distributed

·         Students showcased their talents through patriotic songs, inspirational speeches, and cultural dance performances

The programme came to an end with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, sincerely expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, guests, staff, students, and participants for their valuable presence and contributions to the success of the event.
