CHENNAI:Sri Kanyaka Parameswari Arts and Science College for Women organized Fresher’s Welcome on 20/06/2024 at 9. 30 am in the SKPC temple. On this occasion, various religious activities like group prayer and puja archana were performed. Honorable Correspondent Sri. Vootukuru Sarath Kumar, Principal Dr. T. Mohanashree, Dean Dr. P. B. Vaneetha, Vice – Principal M. V. Nappinai, Member in – Charge of Devasthanam Sri. Desu Lakshmi Narayana, Member in – Charge of Finance Sri. C. A. Nalam Sree Kanth, Secretary E. Kishore and all the HOD’S welcomed first year students by their wonderful wishes and blessings. Staff members were present on the occasion.
The purpose of fresher’s welcome is to welcome new students in a friendly atmosphere and to encourage their creative impulses to boost their confidence. In the college premises, fresher students were welcomed by other fellow students with bursting color paper bomb, dancing and giving greeting cards and flowers as a token of love. Then, they were taken to their respective classrooms by their department students. They became a member of “KANYAKA FAMILY”
